I’m annoying, clingy, bossy, impatient. I ask too much. I say too little. I get emotional easily. I have trust issues. There’s all these flaws about me that should’ve pushed you away. These flaws would’ve made you want to leave, yet you’re still here. You saw past all of that. I just want to say thank you. No one cared enough to stay until you came along.
In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”
I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.
I love it when we spend the night together. It gives me a warm feeling inside knowing that we don’t have to go all out for each other. Watching movies, cuddling, making stupid jokes, and being assholes to each other is where it’s at. I like that we can lay around and just talk about everything or nothing at all. I like how you’re scent is still lingering around on my bed. I like how we spent 26 hours doing “nothing” but it means everything to me. Thank you for spending the night with me. Thank you for making me happy after all this time. Thank you. I had a wonderful day with you, love. &Although I miss you already, I know that I’ll see you again soon.
